Nice and clean place. The ladies in there are very kind and knowledgeable. If you want to explore north Lake Tahoe and find some rare hiking spots, then definitely grab a map from them with some directions and suggestions. Make sure to stop by.
Nice place with clean bathroom. The credit card machine does not work, which is fine- but the lady that works informed me 3 times that it was cash only. The first time, I replied, “thanks, we saw it on the outside that it’s cash only.” Every fee items I placed on the counter, she bring up the money. She said it to my dad as well- very bothersome… we also didn’t get a receipt for our purchase.
They had a mini bonanza exhibit and of the native tribal people that was nice to see.
It is an excellent place to stop and shop, get your directions, and find out the best place to park. Susan was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area.
Beautiful, clear Lake Tahoe! Worth a full vacation, but refreshing also for only stopping for a short walk barefoot in the lake and grabing lunch.
Very good info services.
Scenic and educational stop. History buffs will love this spot. Beautiful vista with mesmerizing water flow.
We're living in a vehicle travelling around and finding fresh drinking water isn't the hardest thing but finding free water as good as Tahoe water is nearly impossible.
After asking the welcoming kind clerk inside for permission to use their water we filled our tank up.
Not only were we able to get water we got some souvenirs to support this cute visitor center. Would recommend visiting.
The center was not open yet for the season, but we came for the views anyway.
Take a break and stop by get information. Nice staff.
The staff here is always Awesome!
Very lovely visitor center. It's got a great selection of locally made souvenirs and the staff is very friendly. The lady checking us out had some really helpful tips about North Lake Tahoe and where to look for trout in the dam nearby. Parking can get full quick on a busy day, but it's not a far walk from the lots nearby.
